Our Leo bug is 6 months!

Fastest 6 months EVER!

With each kiddo, it passes by quicker..

Makes sense. 3 kiddos makes time fly by..

Leo is the baby of the house so I am soaking up these baby months as much as possible. I hold him as much as possible and kiss him a million times and he still doesn't sleep through the night but that's ok (yes, I am tired) because he will eventually sleep through the night and then I won't have a reason to snuggle him in the middle of the night.

Anyway, here's a little about what Leo has been up to lately.

He LOVES his mama. I mean LOOOOVES her;) But of course this is nothing new, the boy came out holding on to the umbilical cord for dear life, he had to have assistance from the doctor to let it go. He did not want to be separated from his mama. Something about boys and their mommy.

He is a thumb sucker for sure!

He can sit up all by himself.

He loves to eat his toes. SO cute.

He hates tummy time.

Because of that, he is showing zero interest in crawling. That's ok. He will when he's ready.

He loves to caress mommy and daddy's faces. It is the sweetest thing!

Him and Max already have the sweetest brotherly bond. Melts my heart.

His sissy thinks he is the cutest ever along with Max. She may be a bit biased:)

He is weighing 16 lbs 8 oz and measuring 26 1/2 inches long.

Nursing every 3-4 hours.

Super ticklish and his laugh is hilarious.

His eyes are still blue.

Still working on growing some hair;)

He is pure joy. He completes our family so very well.

Leo is 4 months old!

Our precious Leo bug aka Bubba Leo aka Leonidas turned 4 months old last week. My how quickly 4 months flew by..

Going from 1 child to 2 was challenging. Mind you, my first two are 9 years apart, so when we added our Max to the family, we just didn't know what we did with all the time we had before him.

I always heard that if you can handle 3, you can handle 7. We don't plan to find out BUT 3 IS a whole other world.

Out of the 3, Leo bug has grown the fastest. Goodness, he just wont slow down. He is ready to start running so he can keep up with the other two. He is THE baby so I am going to need him to slow it down. :)

This past weekend we attended a wedding in Charleston and Leo came along so he got to enjoy being an only child for a couple of days. He definitely loved all the attention from mommy and daddy. Now, we're back to reality and he didn't handle it too well. Wanted to be held allll day yesterday which is not like him at all.

Leo is a layed back, happy, always smiling, loves to bounce, drool monster baby. I believe we will be seeing some teeth soon. His fists are his favorite teether.

The kid loves to snuggle. Especially at night and I am soaking it up. We are only getting about 4 hour sleeps in between feedings but that's ok.

The boy has beautiful blue eyes and he is growing some hair and those thigh, neck and arm rolls are delicious. I eat him up with kisses all day.

Leo is such a sweet blessing to our family. Here's some 4 month pictures I took.

Max turns T H R E E !!

Our Maximus James turned 3 years old on Friday, March 18th. We celebrated at Chuck E Cheese on Friday evening with just us and Titi and celebrated again with sweet friends and family on Saturday at the Airplane Park in Greenville. If you've never been, I think you should definitely visit sometime. So much fun!

This past year was challenging. We potty trained. We started and got out of daily tantrums (we still have them but not often). We got our first haircut (I still miss his long hair). We welcomed a new baby brother. It was a big year for our Max and for the rest of us too.

My sweet and wild Maximus has really matured in the last few months since becoming a big brother. I had always heard they seem to grow up over night once they become an older sibling. So true. Our Adriana was 9 when Max was born, so she was already pretty mature when he came along, plus she's always been an old soul. Love that girl to pieces:)

Max will be starting school in the Fall and I am so happy for him but I also get emotional when I think about it. I know this will be so good for him! #growingup

I'm still in a little bit of denial that my boy is 3! Time sure does fly.

This past Thursday we met up with the very talented Karmen Wilson downtown for some family pictures.

Adri was such a model. Max was a total ham and baby Leo was a sweet baby that didn't cry at all during the shoot. What more can a mama ask for?

Can't wait to hang this one up in our house.
